Detailed Itinerary of 9 Days Gorillas and Wildlife Safari
Day 1:Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi
On your first day of your 8 days safaris, You will enjoy early breakfast and prapare to meet up with your guide for a transfer to lake bunyonyi which is located southwest of the country a journey that takes 8 hours driving through the country sides which will give you a fisrt stop at the equator for pictures and water experiment before proceeding to Mbarara for a lunch stop,after lunch you will drive through the kigezi highlands-reaching kabale towns later in the evening and check-in at your lodge for evening dinner and relax.

Day 2: Boat cruise
After having a relaxed breakfast you will meet up your guide and drive down to the lake side where you will have a boat trip on lake bunyonyi popularly known for its 29 islands including the punishment islands which was used on the bakiga culture for isolating wrong doers especially girls who would get pregnant while still at their parents home, visit all the other islands that inhibited by lots birds species where the lake drives its name from and later in the afternoon return to the lodge for lunch and afternoon relax while watching the sunset on the virumga mountains.
Day 3: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
On your 3rd day of your primate safari and wildlife safari you enjoy your breakfast as you prepare to embark on your journey to bwindi leaving bunyonyi in the mid morning driving through the beautiful hills of the gorilla mountains reaching your lodge in the afternoon, have lunch and later in the evening you may choose to go an optional Batwa trail experience or choose to relax at the lodge.

Day 4:Gorilla Trekking day
On this day have breakfast as early as 7:00am and later drive to the briefing point, your ranger guide will take you through the background of gorillas in Bwindi as well as the dos and don’t s on tracking later you will be led to the impenetrable forest in search of these cousins a walk that will take close to 2hrs of hike depending on the movements of the gorillas upon reaching them you will spend an hour with them as babies play and take as many photos as you can, at the end of the tracking your ranger will lead you out or the forest and you call it the end of a life time experience with the gorillas. Returning to your lodge later in the afternoon, you will refresh and either visit the village in the nearby village or stay at lodge relaxed and refreshing the memories of the safari.
Day 5: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth Safari
Depending on the time you finish your breakfast, you will drive to Ishasha the southern sector of Queen Elizabeth popularly known for the tree climbing lions, have a an en-route drive as you proceed to the northern sector of kasenyi, reaching in the evening you will check in at your lodge for dinner and evening relax.

Day 6: Morning game drive and afternoon boat cruise
You will have breakfast and meet up with your driver guide to go for a morning game drive in Kasenyi plains where you will be rewarded with great views of large herds of elephants, buffaloes, Uganda kobs, bushbucks, waterbucks, warthogs which will be grazing in the open savannah plains inclusive of predators tracking experinence like lions, leopards if you are lucky, variety of bird species among others. After the game drive you will drive to the lodge for lunch.
After lunch you will go for an exciting boat cruise on Kazinga channel a water body that connects Lake George and Lake Edward where you will get a chance to view elephants, buffaloes, waterbucks, warthogs drinking water along the shores, view large concentrations of hippos and Nile crocodiles in water, water birds like martial eagle, papyrus Gonolek, pelicans, hornbills, African skimmers, cormorants, African spoonbills, fish eagles, king fisher’s among others and also view fishermen organizing their fishing nets along the water banks. After the boat ride you will return to the lodge for an evening relaxation dinner and overnight stay as above.
Day 7: Transfer to Kibale National Park
Depending on the time you finish your breakfast, you will check out and prepare to head for kibale national park which is the primate capital of the world and home to the chimpanzees who are humans closest cousins, upon reaching you will check in at your lodge for lunch and relax at leisure.

Day 8: Chimpanzee Trekking
After an early breakfast, you will drive to park headquarters and be briefed before embarking on a Guided chimpanzee trekking experience that usually take 3 to 4 hours. Some other primates that we are likely to see include the Red-tailed monkeys, Black and white Colubus, Red Colubus, Velvet monkeys and baboons, a variety of bird species among other wildlife. You will then trek back meeting your guide to drive back to the lodge, refresh and have lunch and head to Bigodi wetland for yet another amazing swamp walk experience before returning to your lodge in the evening for dinner and overstay.
Day 9: End of safari.
On the 9th day you will have a relaxed a breakfast that will wind up your trip of the primates and wildlife safari, checkout at your convenient time with a drive that will take you through farm lands on the Ankole people hence reaching kampala in the evening marking the end of your safari with Nature Addicts Safaris.
