9 Days Uganda Gorillas and wildlife safari(Queen Elizabeth National park, and Lake Mburo National Park) : Queen Elizabeth national park is located in western region in Uganda, west of Kampala a drive that takes 7 to 8 hours through districts of Mbarara and fort portal respectively strategically situated on the floors of the great East African rift valley endowed with several natural resources and magnificent landscape with over 95 mammals and 600 bird species which gives it an best safari destination in Uganda. This is aided by a stopover to break the journey in fort portal the land of milk and honey with a wide cultural diversity and hosting the largest number of primates in the world in Kibale forest national park hence the name primates capital and beautiful crater lakes that range over 40 crater lakes in the same region, The Rwenzori mountain slopes with stretches of tea and coffee plantations one of the key attractions in the region.

Day 1: Pick up and Transfer to Fort portal
You will meet your guide/driver depending on your location in Kampala at around 8:00am for a transfer to Fort portal. This is 5 to hours\’ drive with and route lunch. Reaching fort portal in the afternoon for a city tour.
You may choose to have an optional activity later in the evening by driving to Amabere Ga Nyina mwiru caves where you will explore the caves that have a fascinating history, the waterfalls and if time allows go for hiking to view Caldera and crater lakes. After return to your Lodge for overnight.
Day 2: Chimpanzee tracking and Crater lakes tour/ Swamp Walk
On your second day of the Uganda safari, you will have an early breakfast and meet your guide, driving to Kanyanchu visitor information Centre for briefing, after briefing you will head to forest with your ranger guide in search of our closest relatives, depending on where the chimpanzee have spent their previous night you will spend an hour depending on their movements as they feed and play around in their home range. After Chimpanzee Tracking in Kibale forest you will drive back to your lodge for lunch and later in the afternoon connect for a swampy walk and crater lakes exploration, walk deep into the thick jungle and on a lucky day you may find primates that you might have missed in the morning tracking like Red colobus, grey checked mangbey, and L’ hoest monkeys and on finalizing with this activity you will drive back to your lodge for evening relax for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth national Park/ Evening game drive,
After having your relaxed breakfast you will drive through the Ndalli kasenda craters with beautiful landscape and have scenic photography as you connect to queen Elizabeth national park upon reaching you will check in to your lodge, have lunch and later connect for an evening game drive in the kasenyi plains expecting to find elephants, Buffalos, and lots of antelopes like the Uganda Kob, and water buckers and on lucky day lions and leopards after the game drive you will drive back to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4: Morning game drive and afternoon boat cruise.
You will wake up early, have breakfast and embank for an early morning game drive in the Kasenyi plains, expect to see the big four game including antelopes, warthogs and white Colobus monkeys just to mention a few. You will then return to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, you will go for a cruise along Kazinga channel where you will get an opportunity to see a number of bird species, elephants and buffaloes, hippos and crocodiles at the lake shores. After proceed to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay
Day 5: Morning game drive and transfer to Bwindi National Park.
After an early breakfast you may choose to have an early morning game drive, this will enable you to encounter wildlife that you might have missed the previous, later you can drive in the afternoon to Bwindi impenetrable National Park reaching in evening for relaxation at your Lodge.
Day 6: Gorilla tracking and Batwa trail experience
On this day have breakfast as early as 7:00am and later drive to the briefing point, your ranger guide will take you through the background of gorillas in Bwindi as well as the dos and don’ts on Uganda gorilla trekking later you will be led to the impenetrable forest in search of these cousins a walk that will take close to 2hrs of hike depending on the movements of the gorillas upon reaching them you will spend an hour with them as babies play and take as many photos as you can, at the end of the tracking your ranger will lead you out or the forest and you call it the end of a life time experience with the gorillas.

Returning to your lodge later in the afternoon, you will refresh and either visit the pygmies in the nearby village or stay at lodge relaxed and refreshing the memories of the Uganda safari.
Day 7: Driving to Lake Mburo national park.
After breakfast you will only drive to Lake Mburo national park reaching in the afternoon have lunch and relax at leisure
Day 8: Game drive, walking safari and boat cruise.
Depending on the time you get up, you will enjoy your breakfast and have your drive to the briefing point before you drive to your starting point for the walking safari, expect to encounter the Park\’s largest antelope Elands grazing along with Zebras, Topis, Buffaloes, and the popular Giraffes as they exploit the top most new fresh leaves of whistling acacia Later drive back to your Lodge for lunch as you wait for afternoon boat cruise on the beautiful waters of lake Mburo expecting to find mammals like hippos, crocodiles, and some water birds
Day 9: Return to Kampala
After breakfast early in the morning, you will go for another game drive expecting to see what you might have missed on the previous day, later return to your lodge for hot lunch before you embark on your journey back to KAMPALA
