Day 1: Arrival and transfer to Kinigi for Gorilla Tracking

On the first day of your 3 Days Rwanda Gorilla Tracking Safari, a private car and guide will pick you up from the airport. Transfer in a private car with a driver to Volcanoes National Park in Rwanda, which is where gorilla tracking takes place. Your guide will show you around Kigali, the new and lively capital of Rwanda. Rwanda is known for its mountains, which are now a big part of the country\’s new wealth. A stark difference from its recent past.

The Memorial sites and centers are places where people who lost family members in Rwanda\’s genocide in 1994 can remember them in a respectful way. It is also a place where people from all over Rwanda and the world can go to think and learn.

The Volcanoes National Park (Parc National des Volcans in French) is dominated by the setting of volcanoes, which range in height from 2,400m to 4,507m. Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Parc National des Volcans.

Have breakfast and then go to the park\’s offices for a briefing. Then, go gorilla trekking in the forest. When you go on an exciting hike through the beautiful foothills of the Virungas, you can see amazing things in every direction. Then, all of a sudden, the trail goes into a national park. This pulls hikers into the strange closeness of the jungle, where they can hear the calls of colorful birds and the chatter of the rare golden monkey. They are also surrounded by the fresh droppings of buffalo and elephant, which are hard to find in the mountains. The beautiful peaks can be seen through breaks in the forest canopy. They are easy to reach and are among the highest in Africa, which suggests a climb. Trekking with gorillas is hard work, but it\’s worth it to see these friendly giants. After breakfast, you\’ll head to Kigali, where you\’ll go on a tour that includes the market, a pottery project, handicraft shops, the Franco-Rwandan culture center, and a memorial to the genocide. Eat lunch along the way, and then get to the airport.
