14 days Kenya Uganda camping safari : This 14 Days safari takes you through the major tourist destinations In Uganda and Kenya that includes the Masai Mara national reserve that is popular for wildebeest migration, Tsavo West, Amboseli National parks, and the primate’s parks of Uganda that’s Bwindi and Kibale national parks.

Day 1: Arrival Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.

Depending on the time you arrive, you will be welcomed by your guide who will then transfer you to Amboseli national park a drive that takes 5hours, with en route lunch break arriving later in the evening check in to your campsite and prepare your rooftop tent for a night in the jungle as you wait for your dinner to be served and spend your night as your listening to the sounds of the jungle expecting to hear roars of Lions and Hyenas in the night.

Accommodation: Little Amanya camp.

Day 2: Extensive morning and afternoon game drive in Amboseli National Park 

After an breakfast you will drive off from your campsite and get dipper into the park for a relaxed morning game drive expecting to find large herds of Elephants, wildebeests, Zebras, Lions, Buffalos, giraffes with over 400bird species among the many others and on a clear day if the weather is good expect to view the majestic snowcapped Kilimanjaro while on your game drive and shooting fantastic pictures with lots vast  Amboseli wildlife later in the evening return to your camp for dinner and evening camp fire.

Day 3: Transfer to Tsavo west National Park

After your bush breakfast you will take a drive to Tsavo west national park which is about 3:30hrs drive reaching in the afternoon check in at your camp for lunch and later you may choose to go for an optional game drive or setup your tent, refresh and wait for your dinner and overnight stay in the park.

Day 4: Full Day Game Drive in Tsavo West.

After an early breakfast at 6, you will head on for a morning game drive that will lead you to the popular spot light location in the Mzima springs where we expect to find large concentration of aquatic life as well as exploring the open savannah grassland inhibited by Buffalos, elephants, giraffes, cheetah, leopards among others, later you will return to your camp for hot as the sun calms down before you join the evening game drive expecting to find the missed sightings of the day till late evening when you will return and set up your tent for a relaxed overnight stay  in the park as you listen to the roars of the jungle and expecting to the nocturnal porcupines and others

 Day 5: Transfer to Nairobi.

On this day after having a relaxed breakfast you will drive out of the park expecting to have an en route lunch along the way to your booked hotel in Nairobi, this will help to reduce on the long drive to Masai Mara which is over 10hrs and you will at least have covered half of the journey, dinner and overnight stay in Nairobi.

Day 6: Transfer to Masai Mara National Reserve.

Depending the time you get up you will enjoy your breakfast as you prepare for adventurous drive to Masai Mara the land of the beautiful Masai tribe, you will set off at around 8:00Am and have a stopover at the escarpment with nice vie of the rift valley on your way to Narok and maybe take pictures as well as enjoying a cup of coffee then proceed driving through the land of Masai tribe with vast cattle farms dotted with lots of acacia trees as the herdsmen graze their cows, reaching the park in the evening, you will check in using Sekanani gate and find your rangers to take you to the identified camping location inside the park, prepare your tents and organize for dinner as well as you enjoy the roof tent safari experience in Kenya’s most popular safari destination while listening to whispers of the jungle in the night.

Day 7: Full day Game Drive.

On this day 7 of your 14 days Kenya Uganda camping safari you will wake up so early with your jungle breakfast and start your game drive expecting to find the big cuts on the hunt in the vast open savannah grassland of Masai Mara that gives you good chances of finding lots antelopes like grant gazelles, Elands, hartebeests, big herds of buffalos, elephants, cheeters and lions as well as birds like the ostrich bird, Kori bustard, eagles among others, you will enjoy your game drive up to Mara river and proceed to the border with Tanzania expecting to find lots of wildlife and have picnic lunch along the drive meanwhile as you continue with your enroute game viewing back to your campsite and prepare to have your last night in the jungle, dinner and overnight stay at your camp.

Day 8: Early morning game drive and fly to Entebbe airport.

On your last day in Mara you will drive through with a short game drive expecting to find missed sighting on the previous day before you catch up with morning flight to Uganda that takes 3hrs depending on weather of the day reaching Entebbe in the afternoon, you will be picked from the airport to your booked accommodation, chechin and relax as you prepare yourself for the next drive the land of primates in Africa.

9: Pick up and Transfer to Kibale National Park/ Fort portal  

You will meet your guide depending on the time you get up at around 8:00am for a transfer to Fort portal. This is 5 to 6 hours\’ drive with beautiful landscape and lots of tea plantations and farm land of different crops through the lash vegetation of the country side reaching fort portal in the afternoon have lunch and proceed to your lodge for checking.

You may choose to have an optional activity later in the evening by driving to Bigodi area for swamp walk and explore of the surrounding of Kibale national park where you expect to find some primate species like colobus monkeys, red tailed monkeys, and lots of bird species like the great blue Rwenzori Turaco, papyrus Gonolek among many others and later return to your lodge for dinner and overstay.

Day 10: Chimpanzee tracking.

On your second day of the Uganda safari, you will have an early breakfast and meet your guide, driving to Kanyanchu visitor information Centre for briefing, after briefing you will head to forest with your ranger guide in search of our closest relatives, depending on where the chimpanzee have spent their previous night you will spend an hour depending on their movements as they feed and play around in their home range. And after tracing, walk deep into the thick jungle and on a lucky day you may find primates that you might have missed like Red colobus, grey checked mangbey, and L’ hoest monkeys and on finalizing with this activity you will drive back to your Camp for evening relax for dinner and overnight stay.

Day11: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Depending on the time you have breakfast you will drivee from Kibale to Bwindi traversing through queen Elizabeth national park which is one of the most visited destination in Uganda and popularly known for its tree climbing lions, this will as well be your stop over for lunch before you proceed to the rugged landscape of Kigezi highlands reaching in the evening and chechin in at your camp inside the park setup your tent after refresh and wait for your dinner and overnight stay.

Accommodation: Buhoma Community Camp Site.

Day 12: July, Gorilla trekking.

After breakfast on day 12th of the 14 days Kenya Uganda camping safari, you will carry packed lunch and meet up with your driver guide to transfer to park headquarters for a briefing about the rules and regulations to follow during Uganda Trekking trekking. After the briefing you will start trekking in the jungle which takes about 30 minutes to 7 hours depending on where the gorillas are found because they like to move from place to place in search of food. During trekking you will be able to view other primate species like l\’hoest monkeys, view variety of forest birds, different plant species among others. Once you reach the gorillas you will spend one hour with them in their natural habitat which gives you an opportunity to watch them carry out their daily activities like feeding, breastfeeding, grooming young ones, playing, observe their behaviors, habits, take photos and record the breathtaking moments. After the one hour with the gorillas you will meet up with your driver guide and return to the lodge for an evening relaxation, dinner and overnight stay as above.

Day 13: Transfer to Kampala,

This among your last days of the 14 days Kenya Uganda camping safari may seem to be tiring but full of fresh memories you will enjoy your breakfast and drive back to Kampala with an enroute lunch and stopover at the equator for pictures and shopping, later drive reaching Entebbe in the evening you will check in and relax before your next flight.

Day 14: End of the safari and fly back home.

Depending on your flight schedule your guide will meet you and drive you to the airport and take your flight back home marking the end of your 14 days wildlife and primate safari with Nature Addicts Safaris.
