Best Time To Visit Uganda

This is one of the most popular questions about safaris in Uganda. The answer is that you can go to Uganda at any time of the year. Prices may be different, though, because there are two different high seasons: June to September and December to February. This is a high season, so the price of both gorilla passes and lodges is high. From March to May and September to November, it\’s not as busy. During the off season, most high-end safari lodges drop their prices.

Mountain Climbing Safaris in Uganda

Rwenzori mountain is the second-highest mountain range in Africa after Mount Kilimanjaro and Mount Kenya. It is 5109m high. This mountain has 6 peaks, including Mt Baker, which is 4,843m high, Mt Stanley, which is 5,109m high, Mt Speke, which is 4,890m high, Mt Emin, which is 4,715m high, and Mt Savoia, which is 4,627m high. But Margherita Peak is 5109m high, making the Rwenzori the third highest mountain range in Africa.

The mountain is close to the equator, and from many places in western Uganda, you can see its many icy tops from miles away. It has sloes that are higher than 1600m and are popular with hikers. The mountain is known as the most difficult in all of Africa. It also has five different types of plant life, including the Bamboo or Mimulopsis Zone at 2500-3500m, the grassland at 1000-2000m, the afro-alpine moorland zone at 4000-4500m, the Montane forest at 2000-3000m, and the Heather zone at 3000-4500m.

Lake Bunyonyi Uganda Trip

Lake Bunyonyi is in south-western Uganda, near Rwanda, between Kisoro and Kibale. It is 1,962 meters above sea level. After your tour with the gorillas, you can take a break at Lake Bunyonyi before leaving the country.

The towns of Kyevu and Muke town are close to the lake. Some of the islands in the lake are called \”Punishment Island,\” \”Bushara Island,\” \”Kyahungwe Island,\” \”Bwana Island,\” \”Nyuyeera Island,\” and \”Bucaranuka Island.\” We can make custom trips to these Islands.
